We are dedicated to raising the American Quarter Horse following the standards of the early breeders along with the great breeders of today.
The horses we raise need to be suitable for many disciplines and also families with children or beginners. So, we put special emphasis on training our foals. They are trained to be gentle, halter broke, tie, lead, give feet, bathe, load in trailers and experience as much desensitizing as possible. When they go to their new home we want it to be a pleasant experience from the start for both the horse and new owners.
Thru generations great breeders have incorporated the bloodlines of the greatest quarter horse individuals. These horses have been chosen and crossed to produce prepotency for certain desired traits. The qualities we seek are great minds and trainability, athleticism, confirmation and beauty, and that indefinable spirit that is the essence of champions.
With the great minds of breeders gone before to learn from and a world of horses today to choose from, it would seem an easy task to pick a few choice mares and stallions to complement them. However, it took us a lot of time to find the horses we now have and we are very excited about them.
We, Larry and Rose Kramm, were married July 6, 2003 and in March 2004 we started Kramm's Yellow Horse Ranch where color is the "frosting on the cake". Rose is an artist and oil painter of horses and Larry is a photographer, so our horses need to be pretty enough to be our models.
Horsemanship has been in Rose's family for 3 generations. Rose, herself, has 30 years of experience in Quarter Horse breeding. With this background we started a new horse venture together with Larry designing and building our little Rancho.
To God goes the Glory.
"The horse you get off is not the same as the horse you got on; it is your job as a rider to ensure that as often as possible the change is for the better" Anonymous
