Flash Sold 8/07 |
Doc Tari Flash, barn name, Flash Tafaya and Trigger are proud to announce the birth of their colt on April 14, 2007 Flash is the grandson of Doc Tari. He is a Red Dun with chrome (socks and a blaze), a dark strip down is back and leg baring. On his papers (pending) will be Twist A Ward (Trigger), Poco Peppy Doc (#1 Australian cutting horse in the 1970's who's 3/4 brother to Smart Little Lena), Mr. Fool's Smoke (sire of a Snaffle Bit Champion, NCHA, NRHA, NRCHA money earners and Arena ROM's horses), and Skippa Award (a halter winner). The rest of his pedigree includes such greats as Doc Olena, Doc Bar, Peppy San, Mr Gun Smoke, Leo San, Three Bars, and Royal King. His dam, Tafaya Tari, is an own daughter of Doc Tari, a Super Syndicated son of Doc Bar. Tafaya's dam, Princes Caddo, is a daughter of Son of Sugar by Sugar Bars out of Leo Pan by Leo. So you see this colt is royally bred and should be able to campaign when mature as cutter or reiner or any discipline desired. Also, he will get a lot of attention with all his chrome. At only a few days of age, he is showing off in pasture with lead changes, circles, slides, and hopping side to side. He has all the moves naturally. What a great prospect for performance. He's got the bloodlines for it and for a stallion prospect, too. It is hard to find these blood lines this close up. His dam, Tafaya Tari, was in training for the Snaffle Bit Fatuity when she was injured breaking a sesamoid bone. |

Shena Sold: April 2008 |
Shena Kawoni, barn name Shena Callie and Trojan are proud to announce the birth of their filly on April 7, 2007. Shena is minimal white Buckskin, Tobiano with cream gene. She is actually 3 colors, Buckskin, White, and Black. She has black in her mane, around the edges of her ears and tear drops on her legs. Her hoofs are striped. Both eyes are black. Shena means Powerful and Beautiful in the Urban Dictionary. Kawoni is a Cherokee word for April Flower Moon. Since Callie's foal was born in April and her grandam's name is Moon Ripple and her front end looks so powerful and she is so beautiful with three colors, we named her Shena Kawoni. (Powerful Beautiful April Flower Moon). Paints are related to the American Indian Tribes because of Indian Folk Lore attributing spiritual meaning to the paint markings. Shena is a real charmer and easy to work with. She has great natural muscling and little fancy show horse head. She should be halter shown with her good looks and conformation. So far, at 2 weeks old, she has shown to be extremely intelligent and easy to handle as her dam, sire, and siblings have always been. Callie's sire, The Rookie, was World Champion Weanling Halter Horse. Callie's pedigree is loaded with APHA Champions in Performance and Halter, even a Supreme Champion, Sky Bug Bingo. |
